Summer Volunteer Research Roles!
We are looking for volunteers to carry out a full investigation of the need for our work, and of the impact of our work this summer. These reports could form part of an academic project, or suit someone looking to go into political or think tank policy research. The report will include: field research and interviews to identify barriers and needs; review of existing research in the area; quantitative and qualitative data; discussion of different barriers of different groups; summary of findings; recommendations from findings; publication ready work include info-graphic representation of data; and site you as author.
Skills, experiences and qualities required
You are looking for a great experience in business and working with start-ups? You want to work on a special project and be involved in it?You have an interest in social projects, such as charity, development or social enterprise? An interest in research/evaluation/authoring reports? You have good communication skills and you are comfortable talking to people in a friendly relaxed way? You are a good listener with an understanding nature? Which is really important to us, because the people we work with face significant disadvantages? We think great communication skills are key.
You have all these skills, and you have an interest in social projects? Stop looking for another summer project….The one we offer might be the most interesting for your experience in a professional and personal way!
