18 Apr Genesis Start-Ups Stun at National Conference
Genesis recently invited four of their Strive graduates to showcase their products to over a thousand people at their national staff conference. Enterprise CUBE’s Paul Funnell joined them for what was an exciting and succesful first event for many of the businesses.
Staff were won over by all of the residents; Sauro with his organic dog biscuits, Alex and his funky wooden ties, Elizabeth with her cardboard sunglasses and Paula’s patisserie business. Paula’s stall was ‘mobbed’ by staff during one break as she gave away over 1,000 handcrafted cup cakes. The cunning ploy seemed to work as staff have since booked her mobile catering business for events and functions.
