New Online Support

New Online Support

At Enterprise CUBE we’ve just welcomed in the next generation…

We’re really excited that Sovereign, Viridian and Affinity Sutton are all launching our next generation of distance support, fully enabled for mobile devices.  With Orbit, Amicus Horizon and Genesis housing associations also soon to have residents logging in to this new way of getting business support.

So how did this all come about? Well we found many residents had limited access to computers, but had latest mobile devices in their pockets. So we started wondering could these amazing devices be capable of running everything a small business needs?

First we decided to test it, so Richard (our Director) tried to run the business from an iPad Mini for a month last year – watched, supported and advised by over a hundred start-ups on Facebook.  At the end of the month, one thing was clear – we have to be able to support a coming wave of mobile phone run businesses.

So the Strive Online next generation project was born, which led by Laura Mumford has this February seen our first programmes go live.

Sovereign residents were the first to go online with the new system, which is the latest in simple and easy to use ways to learn.

Signing in from across the country to get help kick starting their businesses, residents can watch newly recorded videos, while downloading tools and guides as they move through the interactive course answering quizzes and getting one to one support.

The technology is great but what makes the whole scheme successful is without doubt the dedicated business adviser giving online, email and telephone support through the whole process.  Working with one of the CUBE team alongside them (virtually) residents can prepare to launch with confidence.
