10 Jul Who Cares?
Who cares? Well, we care.
Inspired by Paul, we’re getting a whole team behind him to take on a 50km walking challenge to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to our hearts. We’re walking 50km to show the ‘Who Cares? Trust’ that the CUBE team, our partners, friends and start up Strivers really do care. And, we’d like to get 50 people involved to really help raise awareness of this cause.
50km & 50 people that care. Why not join us?
The Who Cares? Trust is a voice and a champion for children and young people in the UK living in care. They believe that every child in care should receive the support, encouragement and opportunities they need to enjoy their life and to achieve. They give children in care and young care leavers help, support and advice.
We see the massive need to give help to those leaving the care system. That’s where ‘The Who Cares? Trust’ comes in, they offer workshops, advice and support to those who desperately need it. This group is often forgotten and abandoned by government and society. So it’s no wonder the stats are shocking.
Paul, Laura, Tom, friends and housing partner staff are all signing up to join the walk…and Richard is driving the support van full of bacon sarnies.
Some of you may have already pledge to Paul’s fundraising. Paul unfortunately had to pull out of an early effort this year to run the London Marathon to raise funds, so we’re rolling over the kind donations given then and combining them into a team effort.
So join up for our walk on 24th September – you can walk the full 50km with us, walk a few miles or even just a few paces alongside us to show you care too. Sign up to the walk here by sending us an email, or if you’d like to donate you can do so here.
