After a series of events and one to one business sessions across the country, Affinity Sutton’s Ready2Strive programme culminated in a Dragon’s Den event in Canada Water today. The group of young and talented business start up hopefuls pitched to a panel of experts, including Barclays Bank in dragon’s den style pitch event.
They all held their nerve and presented well and will hear if they’ve been awarded up to £1000 in start up grants in the coming weeks.
Bianca’s business Dress Me Right really impressed the judges with her concepts of matching mother and daughter wear as did a very solid presentation from hairdresser, Ellie, whilst the quality and taste of Valentine’s cake spoke for itself. Tough grilling from the judges, but no matter the outcome we have no doubt these bright start ups will succeed in their business ambitions.
